This might be a dumb question but have you tried the screen with the front camera and/or home button unplugged?

Either of those being faulty (causing short circuit) will cause the phone to heat up at the screen connector and CPU area.

I had a client come today that had a friend recently replaced their iPhone 6s plus screen. Phone was heating up a lot due to a short circuit and not turning on.

Turns out it was the front camera cable being partially ripped and plugged in causing a short.

Yes I have I think it might be a short in the lcd cable but it's getting hot right over cpu not the cables very confused and I don't have another screen to test it

Il test soon if it's cpu or pmic getting hot

In my opinion it doesn't make much sense to get concerned about cpu or pmic if the short shows up only when the screen is connected. Unless I misunderstood your description first thing to do would be to try out a replacement screen after checking carefully that lcd and logic board connectors are in perfect conditions.
