Resolder antenna connector to logic board?
In my haste (seems to be a common theme for me with iphone repair) I accidentally broke the antenna connector on the logic board next to the battery terminals.
Obviously now wifi and GSM do not work.
Although these are tiny I hold hope they can be resoldered and that someone has done this successfully.
I understand that with antennas length and resistance are key to providing correct transmission and reception although I'm not sure if this applies to the white leads, the actually antenna array at the base of the phone or both.
Is this repair possible? I assume the connector is coaxial and has two terminals connecting to the board, but there appears to be 4 - two are simply redundancies?
Thanks for your help
Is this a good question?
