Hi @smollock

May I know why do you need to replace the wireless card?

Faulty or better model?

Open up your laptop compartment and work all the way to step 8

Here's the short story.

The wireless nic used to work momentarily upon bootup, Now nothing. I looking at the connection, and it is no longer there. Like the driver disappeared. I can not find a driver to get it to show up again. I have gone through a bazillion HP drivers. I'm running windows 10. this keyboard is always orange, and will not go to white anymore. Any ideas for a fix?

thanks

Hi @smollock

I would suggest to update your laptop BIOS to the latest revision if possible, and also check in the BIOS to ensure that the wireless card is not disabled.

If the problem persists still, I would suggest you to get a replacement from ebay / aliexpress. You can either decide to get a same or better model of the wireless lan card.
