I can get audio and everything but just have a black screen

'''++laurasmall62++'''  this could be a backlight issue as well as a power board or T-con board issue. We need to know the exact model and what you have tried. First, with the TV on a station that you have sound, darken the room. then shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out any silhouettes etc. That way you know that the backlight is the issue. you will eventually have to remove the back from your TV and take a look at the boards and the wiring. Check for obvious damage like burned, leaking or domed capacitors etc. Check the wires to see if they are all properly connected.
