My laptop screen keeps turing black

My laptop screen turns black when i turn my laptop on but when i press something it turns back on and i can move the mouse but 2-3 seconds later it would turn back to black but if i would press something again it would turn back on

Hi,

What is the model number of the laptop?

What OS is installed?

Have you checked the display "sleep" or "time out" settings in Power options?

Try connecting an external monitor to check if it also happens on it.

Try starting the laptop in "safe mode" and see if it still happens.
