Sim card wont work

Help! This is supposed to be a standalone Smartwatch but it doesn't work that way I have a SIM card that I bought to use with it but SIM card won't work either. The only way I can get the watch to work is if I use Bluetooth but I wanted to use it as a standalone any ideas.
