Can't receive calls or texts

I took my iPhone 4 apart to replace the screen got it put back together and everything works but then 30 mins later I can't receive calls or texts now but I can make calls and send texts any help??

tom price check this answer impossible to make a call, other functions are ok and see if that helps

I just had this problem yesterday. After 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T technical support, the Supervisor had a quick fix. She had me go to Settings and then 3G, and then she had me Turn Off 3G (for a few seconds, and then Turn it Back On 3G. Presto... I was then able to receive calls and texts.

She said that the reason this happened is that for some unknown reason, the AT&T network thought I had two sessions or addresses open, which caused me not to be able to receive anything. They can't pinpoint exactly why that happens on occasion, but the fix is simple.

Check that the SIM and sim tray are in properly. 9 times out of 10 this is the issue.
