My antenna in cord broke off my TV

Sanyo model FW50D36F

I'm I able to fix it or buy a new one if so how much will it cost

i have the exact same prob model fw40d36f and i can not seem to get the back case to come apart to replace the board is the a special way it comes apart or what any help is wanted ... thanks guys

Hi @mighty1mouse ,

If you are referring to the co-ax antenna input socket in a TV, it is part of the tuner module which is a sealed unit.

You can cause more problems than you will solve in trying to open and repair the socket in the sealed module.

The module usually is mounted on the mainboard so if you can locate a replacement mainboard for your TV this may be the best option to take.

Search online using the board number of the board on which the tuner module is located to find suppliers and prices.
