I just R&R my LCD/ digitizer making with my battery, and now my “Hey Siri” command no longer works? A long with my ambient light sensor is no longer responsive, why?

Was the screen that you received came pre-installed with the front camera assembly?
If yes, chances are the part is faulty and you can remove the front camera assembly from the old screen.

If you transferred the front camera from the old screen and the replacement screen didn't come with one pre-installed then the front camera cable is most likely ripped and you need to replace it.
The hey siri uses the microphone on the front camera assembly and the ambient light sensor is on that assembly too to control auto brightness.

Yea the screen I replaced came with the camera already installed, but the front facing camera works fine? I guess the mic is broken?

Who's parts did you use and did you transfer the home button from your old display?

I used all iFixit parts, yes I did transfer my original home button.
