Colored Vertical Lines on TV with no Image

So I came home one day to my TV having double image and then changing to a normal image on an interval of about 2-3 seconds. I found that the problem to that is one of the ribbons on the t con board so I took to taking it apart, it was out of warranty anyway. While trying to make the adjustments I couldn't get the image to come back and it just displays this now even when I try to reseat it. There has been no physical damage done the screen or anything and I couldn't see anything wrong with the different boards.

This what it looks like when I turn it on:

The double images exactly like it's displayed in these pictures:

Did I mess up somewhere? Is this even reasonably fixable?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This looks like a communications problem between the tcon board and panel. I would suspect either the cable that connects the two or the connectors themselves. It is easy to break these. Check the connections again. Pay particular attention to the thin flat cables that go to the panel itself. Make sure that the cable is completely inserted before locking it down. If you are not sure, post a photo of the boards and I can provide a more detailed description and instructions.
