2004 Gas Club car will not start. I arched the wires on the ignition.

I was looking for a wire to attach a volt meter display too. I arched the wire on the ignition switch during my search. I changed the solenoid thinking that was the problem. I checked the 10 amp fuse and it was OK. I am not sure what to check or change next. Any help would be appreciated.

I did the same thing. Pulled the panel out and arked the ignition switch now my cart will not do anything from the ignition switch. All the lights work but seems to be no power to switch. And the ignition switch is how you start it. Not pedal start. It is a 2005 carryall gas cart.

hopper9 not sure which wire you shorted out. Follow the wiring diagram and see where it leads you. It is possible that you have shorted out the ignition lock as well. You may consider “hot wiring “ your cart.

Thanks for the help on my Club Car.. I found that the reason the cart would not start was that there is a second fuse. The fuse case does not look like any I have seen. It is just black and plastic. This is a 10 amp too.
