Audio jack causing problems

Isn’t this head set it is the Turtle Beach Recon 50P headset, this is the closest I could find (not in price).

So pretty much what happened was that I accidentally stepped on the edge of the jack while it was in the controller

and bent it a little.

The audio is ok if you get it in the right position but sometimes I can’t cant hear a thing. It also echos other people in the party and gives them a headache.

Just wondering should I try get it fixed it or buy a new headset. I could probably get an audio jack on amazon for cheap enough.

Only bought it a few months ago so want to get at least some use out of it.

Thanks,

R

@ps4_ron post some images of your damage so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that Adding images to an existing question Going by your description, I'd suggest that you replace the jack itself. Make sure that there is no fractured wire etc. Replace the jack the same way you would on a regular headset. Take a look at this guide to see how to replace an audio jack. Should be a simple replacement and keeps your headphones out of the landfill (or your junk drawer;-) and saves you some money as well.
