Lightning connector melted!

Hello!

I was replacing touch screen on my iphone 7 when i was finished i tried to charge my phone after minute or two nothing was happening so i once more opened the phone and noticed some think in the connector has liquefied and then solidified. I don't know why is that. Can somebody please explain this ?

sorry but i cant see which part you think is melted, is it to the left of the screw ?

did you disconnect the battery when you replaced the lcd

Surface around connector. I don't think that glowing think should be there. Yes i was careful about that.

I can't see what you are referring to.

That's just epoxy to protect the passive components soldered onto the flex. Did you disconnect the battery first before removing your screen?

Go back through this guide and double check your work.

Thank you, yes i was thinking something is wrong when i saw this glue. I have clean inside the connector, and when you plug the phone inside a charging cable you can hear it vibrate, but the screen stays black thought.
