Charge 3 and Flip 4 will not connect in Stereo only Party Mode

I upgraded the Charge 3 to the Connect+ firmware. I have connected the Flip 4 and the Charge 3 together and both work fine in Party Mode. Once I try to select Stereo it throws and error saying to move my phone closer and try again and close the app etc. I have done all that. Turned the speakers on and off. Repaired Bluetooth. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but only seems like party mode works. Please help

I have two of the same models flip 4 and its not working. Only while testing it in the jbl connect app it works. But once I close the app and play music it default back to party mode. Stereo is only native and the same on both speakers.

Me, too. Even I'd succeed to connect the Stereo mode, but just few seconds later, the mode has been changed by itself to the Party mode. It doesn't keep in the Stereo mode. The Stereo mode is in activity under the JBL Connect + App. and to check test Left and right channel. When I get out from the App, then it switchs to the Party mode. I'm having this test with two Flip 4s.

I have two JBL Charge 3, and only work in Party mode, after the latest Firmware Upgrade. Before it's workings perfectly.

Connect only 1. Box with Handy. Start 2.Box and Press the connect Butten. So you can go to the Stereo Mode.

Man you are a lifesaver, thank you. Couldn’t get stereo to work, but following your instruction worked. Connect only one speaker. Turn it on. Then turn on one that is not connected to phone and press Jbl connect button on it. And after it press Jbl connect button on speaker connected to phone. Do not quit app while doing so, switch to stereo and don’t open app again. It will not work but speakers will stay stereo

My two Charge 4s seem to work normally with JBL Connect except that the output is not really stereo even if stereo mode is chosen. Also swapping he channels does not work. Both have the latest firmware 3.0.0.

Tried older (8/2019) JBL Connect. Doesn't help.

I have also booted the phone (LG G6) and factory reset both speakers.

I checked the way to connect as stereo. Only one speaker should be paired with the system. Other should not be. Being only one speaker paird with the audio system. Connect the unpaired speaker with paired using the connect button in the speaker. Then the stereo and party mode works fine in the jbl connect app. Remember only one speaker should be paired with the audio system.
