Where is the location device inside of an iPhone 7

I am looking for the actual physical piece of the phone that tracks location and where it is in the phone and how to remove it

Hi @stoniehashpants ,

You can turn off the GPS function in Settings so that you can't be tracked by GPS.

From the home screen > Settings > Privacy > Location Services > tap the Location Services switch to turn it on or off. If prompted, tap Turn Off. GPS is now disabled.

I'm fairly sure that you cannot disable tracking by the phone signal (unless you turn the phone off) without losing phone service.

The phone's general location needs to be known by the phone service provider so that both incoming and outgoing calls to and from your phone can be connected to the phone tower nearest to your location, and if you move location whilst the call is in progress it may be passed from phone tower to phone tower to maintain a reliable connection.

you could remove the antenna for gps/wifi. that would probably be the only viable option for what ur looking for.
