100% battery, icon is red

I had plugged in my Mac after being dead for a couple hours and I let it fully charge but didn't turn in on for a while, when I booted it up and logged in the battery icon was fully charged but red. I restarted the laptop and it's normal now but I'm concerned.

Time to visit an Apple Store! Your battery charging logic has a problem. Hopefully you have AppleCare + If not get an estimate you may need a new logic board.
