Ever a battery sent without being charge?

Just checked this battery i bought 2-3 months ago and there is no battery voltage. It was either bad when i got it or was low to begin with and went lower. Any ideas if it will come back up or is it just toast ? Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

It sounds like if it hasn't come back up after a charge, then the battery must be defective, I would reach out to Apple support as your device should still be under warranty, or if you purchased Apple care you could take the device to an Apple store and they would replace or repair. If you don't care to scramble around with Apple support, you can always attempt self-repair or find your nearest certified repair shop. Replacing the battery should fix your issue.

It may just need to be charged, some companies ship batteries with little to no charge due to the fact lithium is explosive.
