Is there still a way to check for activation lock?

As per the title, I found lots of website that claim to check for activation lock, but lots of them were misrepresenting the device (one told me it was a 16 gb version, the other a 128+ gb, when it's a 64 gb one) so I'm curious to know if they can be reliable. Thanks!

Apple shutdown their website for checking activation lock. I don't know of any reliable site that does this now although someone else may have done more research and found a good one.

Why exactly do you need this? Are you considering buying a pre-owned device? The best way is to check it in-person. If it's a remote purchase maybe ask them for a brief video tour of the settings to confirm it is unlocked.

Sadly, there is no means any more. It turns out some folks were leveraging the site to find used ID's so they could reprogram stolen phones.
