Fn, Command, 5,t,g,b keys not working even after keyboard replacement

I'm attempting to figure this one out. The Fn, Command, 4, t, g, and keys stopped working. Tried all the "non-invasive" software, System Prefs, SMC reset suggestions, then replaced the keyboard with a brand new keyboard and these keys still do not work. Started up from an external drive, opened Terminal and tested keys and they did not work here either.

Any further suggestions out there beside a logic board replacement?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you test your MacBook with an external keyboard connected via USB or through bluetooth ?

I have had the exact same problem, but with another column: “Brighter Screen Light” button, and the “2”, “W”, “S” and “X” keys on my 15-inch Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. I am not technically gifted, so I have not taken a chance to fix it myself by taking on the somewhat difficult task of replacing the integrated keyboard…

My temporary solution that works is to connect an external keyboard (I did mine via USB, as I only have the wire/USB variant - not bluetooth) - and I no longer have an issue. I do plan to have this issue checked by an (legit/official) Apple technician.
