Laptop Freezes When My Laptop Suddenly Switched Off

Hi,

laptop switches off in an improper way while reading PDF file, it is suddenly switched off while running directly on AC Power Because of an power outage problem.

When i turned on back, the laptop was Freezes, Windows doesn't responding to any action (Image Below When i Try To Open A Folder).

Options

Have you tried booting in safe mode? Press F8 immediately after switching laptop on and select safe mode. Is the pdf from a reliable source? Maybe check with a virus checker or perhaps file is to big and you are running out of ram?
