Why does my Craftsman 4500 keep popping the drive belt when I reverse?
I kept popping my drive belt when i put it in reverse, changed the belt and its still doing it

Check to see that the drive belts line up on the pulleys if a pulley is off a bit it will through belts. The pulley may have a bad bearing and not riding true or the bar that holds the pulley in place may be bent. You may also want to check the tension on the belt . Hope this helps
