Are logic boards from Late 2013 to Mid 2015 interchangeable?

Can't find the answer anywhere.

If I have a Late 2013 15-inch Retina, can I place a mid-2015 logic board in it?

For one thing your display won’t work.

The 2013 uses another display then the 2015 model.
