samsung UN60FH6003FXZA
Samsun 60" blinks off and on. when I disconnect the led connector from the power board i can do the flash light test and see picture and the on off button works. when I reconnect the led connector to the power board the on off button stops working and the screen blinks off and on over and over.

clearly the power board shows significant heat damage.
I disconnected the power board from the main board and it still blinked. I then disconnected the the led connector from the top of the top of the power board and plugged it in. Now i could turn the tv off and on and did the flash light test and could see a picture. I believe this is telling me my LED's are bad. I am going to attempt the LED replacement since it isn't that costly. I think its $89.00 from shopjimmys. My only concern is the glass panel and not breaking it when I lift it up off the tv...

@madman1011 looks like your TV has a backlight issue. Could be caused by the power board or the backlight array itself. You'll need to remove the back of your TV and check the power board. Check all components for obvious damage like leaking or domed looking capacitors. Post some images of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see.
