How to recover deleted photos from Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium

Hi, I saved many photos on my Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium phone, but unfortunately, they are deleted by my little son. There is no backup in Cloud for I do not think it is a safe way. So, is there a tool to recover the high quality photos?

I believe that the version of Android that ships with these newer phones encrypt everything by default. When encryption is doing its job, recovery is going to be very difficult if not impossible. While I am aware that it is possible to mount a decrypted image of the storage and try to pick at the bits from there, if you’ve used your phone since the deletion, expect all of the recoverable bits to be overridden by the new bits you’ve added to the phone simply by using it.
