Microwave runs when door open.

I have a Panasonic microwave. The unit began running when the door is open. It would operate properly but also runs when the door is open so we stopped using it.

I researched and replaced all three door switches with the correct replacements. Powered it up and it still runs with the door open.

Any suggestions what I should try next?

Have you checked where the door switches go to the control board? Is a connector loose?

That door switch is an 'Override' switch to the power relay on the circuit board. The inside light, the fan, the rotator, the magnatron, etc are all switched by the board. You need to do some simple continuity tests. Get a circuit diagram for your model.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...

Disconnect the transformer before you cook yourself.
