I have a few ds lights with bad mother boards

i cant seem to find any new ds light mother boards ive checked every where and cant seem to find any. ive checked the fuses and everything and the fuses are fine but the ds wont turn on at all even when i put in a new fully charged battery

any damage to the hinge? if the top screen is damaged it doesn't always turn on

Some more information on what they are doing or not doing would be helpful. Do es the charge light come on when you try to charge? Does the green light come on at all when you attempt to power them on? Do either or both screens flash when you try to power them on? Are there signs of water damage on the boards such as liquid indicator being pink or a residue present on the boards?

ab.. sounds like you could add to the repair guide/troubleshooting guide for ds... with my kids breaking theirs every other week I really could do with that kind of help!!! x

I know: The shell is new. The system charges. The green light does come on. There is no visible signs of water damage. On the rest of this I am somewhat confused. Does the green light and screens flash on and off? Does the game system flash on and off, but on occasion will stay on until you touch the touch screen? When the game system comes on what is the picture like on the upper screen? Does the game system always come on and stay on until you touch the touch screen? Have you tried starting the game system with out a game cartridge in the system, if so what is the result? How did you check the fuses?
