Why is my 3ds not booting into home screen?
My 3ds can charge, turn on with the blue light, and everything, except the screen will light up in a black color and not go to the home screen. if i hold L+R+up+A i get into the system restore, but i cannot update as its on the latest firmware. if i hold the power button for a second on the black screen, then the prompt for shutdown appears, and if i press home menu from there then the home screen starts loading, but never does, this time with a white screen labeled as "home screen". this started after i replaced the left shoulder button.

this seems to be the exact issue described, however reinstalling the wifi chip does not help
Is this a good question?
You think you might've dislocated a cable after replacing the button? Could you confirm that for me?

im 90% sure, as ive gone back in and re connected all of them, which one would cause this issue, if that were the case?

Well I wouldn't know exactly, haven't touched my 3DS for years. But don't do this if you don't want to, but try booting the 3DS without the shoulder button part, as something might've gone wrong while replacing that part

I have also tried that

Hmm, I wonder what it is then, I personally don't think it's a cable error at this point to be fair.
