Can you give us a bit more here on what happened. As well as what you've done so far. Did you note the on-board Diagnostics LED before you replaced the power supply what was they showing then.

Thanks Dan, One morning would not turn on. Took screen out led 1 blinking when conected to power. Press power button led1 blinks faster when power button is depressed. Replaced power supply and leds are the same. Reseated the ram. Tried other ram from another imac same year. No change.

Sorry for the delay is answering you had to talk with a friend what fixes these logic boards more than me. The logic board has a few voltage regulators to create lower voltages than what the power supply offers. Its one of these regulators that has failed.

Sadly, without doing a deep dive into debugging the logic board there is just no way to isolate out whats failed here, besides Apple uses a lot of custom chips.

He recommends you bring it into an Apple store for a flat rate repair of the logic board. They will replace your logic board. If thats not an option they you'll need to ship your system (or logic board) to someone who can dive into this deeper.
