Why does my TV randomly connect to my neighbors sound bar?

I have a Samsung smartv, my wife bought me for Christmas... It randomly connects to my neighbors soundbar and I have to go into the menu to go back to the tv speakers... I dont have a surround sound or sound bar hooked up to my tv, my menu does NOT give me the option to remove the soundbar from the speaker list, what can I do??? It connects randomly abouy every 3 minutes or so... I reset the sound but about 3 minutes later it connected again!!! Help!!!

Have you found a solution for this yet? I could suggest getting your own Samsung soundbar and pair it to your TV.

I have the same issue but on the other end. My neighbours tv keeps connecting to my sound bar. It’s hard to say who it is because I live in an apartment.

I don’t think they are aware that this is going on, as when the sound bar connects they put the volume up to max and it stays like that all day.

So I can easily assume they’re in their apartment wondering why their TV has no sound.

Super annoying for all involved. I’m looking for a way to lock them out of my sound bar. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way.

Check all the menus for an option to turn Bluetooth off. As a temporary measure you could hold a sheet of aluminium foil on your neighbour’s side of the TV to shield it.
