Phone not charging or switching onafter overheating

Last night my phone started overheating while charging so i unplugged it and let it cool down for a while. i then tried to charge it again but its refusing to charge or power up. what do i do?

Options

Try with other charger. Even facing same problem then visit local service center of that brand.
