Hello I have a Sanyo TV flat screen and the model number is fw50d36f I have problems with it turning off and on it will not stay on to watch anything on it automatically shuts off what is the problem is it easy cheap fix maybe it's a power board

Jeannette Bills after it turns off it turns on by itself? Your power lights on the TV turn off? If you are on a station with sound all that disappears as well?

It could very well be the power board but it is also possible that this is related to a bad IR board. Have you tried to remove the battery from your remote to see if the TV stays on?
