Samsung NP530E5M Laptop- Which replacement DC power jack should I buy?

Hello!

The DC jack on my Samsung NP530E5M laptop broke and I am in need of replacing it. However, I have not been able to find a replacement part for this particular model anywhere! (It's not even listed above, so i chose a different model.)

I did buy the computer at Best Buy, and I've heard that they sometimes have different model numbers so they don't have to price match. If this is the case, what is the comparable model that I should be searching for?

Is it even possible for me to replace this part on my own?

Yes it would be possible to match up , but some research and power/current relations must be checked but i recommend going with the original part always . List the Model number in the comments of your actual laptop and maybe one of my fellow team members may be able to respond with some help. As for the replacement, most of these are soldered on so that would depend on your skill level and having the required tools such as soldering station or hot air station etc. I highly recommend professional replacement but if you think you are cable and have the tools , go for it and good luck.
