which gears for on road

Hi there,

if anyone could help me out would be much appreciated!!

I have a 2003 jeep Renegade,automatic,

I just took it fo a drive,there are 2gear boxes,

1 for the automatic transmission,then a separate one for the 4wd!the gear has been put into 2wd can someone please tell me how do I get it back to its normal automatic gear?

I know this might sound stupid,but I don't know a thing about cars!!please someone help!!

@salsie what model is your Jeep. You said it's a REnegade but the device you selected was a Grand Cherokee. If it is a Renegade, is it a Liberty Renegade?

@salsie for your transfer case shifter all you have to do is to place it in 2H. This transfer case is intended to be driven in the 2-wheel drive position (2H) for normal street and highway conditions such as dry hard surfaced roads. Attached is the owners manual for the 2004 but it should be identical to the 2003 21487 KJ OM 2ND ED
