How do I stop ad notifications from "Android Tools"?

Recently, Blu has begun using the app "Android Tools" to send me notifications that are just ads. This just started a week ago and I've had an X2 for over a year. Is there a direct way in settings to block this, or is there another app I can install to stop this? I'm open to ideas.
