I've a gold iPhone 6 plus, the LCD got damaged can I replace the white panel with a black panel? I'm okay with white home button on black bezels. I don't know the replacement part ifixit provides can be used with a iPhone that had white bezel display.

Color has no effect on the functionality of the screen so that will be no problem to do.
But though I recommend sticking to the same color matching the home button / phone.
