Backlight is working but screen display isent.

My friend recently opened his iphone and tried to fix the mic on the phone because it wasnt working, he followed videos and everything on how to do it and he was carful he put it all back together and the backlight works the sounds work everything works besides the display. I went back through and checked every cable inside everything looks fine but any ideas?

Sounds like the LCD connector is not well connected. A little, accidental touch could have moved it a bit.

Hopefully it's that, not that the flex cable is broken.

Took the screen and saw the lcd cable was split in half wheere the cable first starts off the screen sucks..
