My maytag bravos washer got water into the motor area due to flooding

my maytag washer quiet series 300 got water in the motor area due to flooding, i have changed the rsp sensor, now the agitator turns slowly and the inner tub does not go down onto the inner shaft with a load of cloths or water in it. If i push down on the tub while its running it will turn as it should what could be the problem and how can I fix it?
