1 Only Fans are On
My macbook pro is not turning on. Non of the lights are coming on like the apple or the keyboard backlights or the retina display. I know the computer is on because fans are on. Also i there is not mac sound anymore either. i have tried to plugging in to an external display and it was not working. I have reapplied thermal paste. so i do not know what is going on!

Lets back up here for a moment... Was the system working before you redid the thermal paste? If so why did you think it needed to be done?
