Black smook coming out while driving.

@johnpaulhonda you need to tell us at least the engine size and if it has manual or automatic transmission. Black smoke is usually when your engine does not get enough air. It would indicate that your car is running too rich. Try cleaning or replacing your air filter.Of course, there could be something wrong with your injectors. Start by running an injector cleaner in your gasoline. You also need to check your O2 sensors. disconnect your Battery and keep it disconnect for awhile (2-3hrs.) then reconnect it This may reset your ECU to a new air/fuel curve. Of course, you should also get the OBD scanned to see if you get any error codes that may help you diagnose this.Let us know what you find.
