The Wii U is a video game console paired with a handheld device made by Nintendo that allows users to play games on the GamePad. Repairing the console is straightforward as the device is very modular.

How can I fix the disk drive?

So, I was taking apart the disk drive from my Wii U because I was curious as to what it looked like. I had no game inserted. I put everything back together to make sure everything worked. After inserting a disk, I powered it on, and everything was fine except for the disk drive. I couldn't eject the game from it, and it was making a sort of scratching sound. I turned it off and tore it back down. I decided to not take the drive apart except for the top covers because I didn't want to damage the game. Can someone please help?

Edit: I do not have a JIS screwdriver bit, and, once I get enough money, I'll be able to purchase one of the ifixit kits.

My best suggestion to you is to tear it down and reverse it step-by-step using the iFixit teardown guide to see if everything you have matches.

Otherwise you are looking at about $25 for a whole new drive.
