Samsung 40 LCD horizontal white lines

My Samsung has faint white horizontal lines running through 3/4 of the TV every thing else works fine, I changed the TCON board but nothing changed. Any ideas on this before I change the video board.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@bigjets horizontal lines are never caused by a bad t-con board. Unlikely that this is even a main board issue. Horizontal lines are most commonly caused by a failed panel (failed Gate Drivers). Post some images of your boards with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. Let us know the exact model of your TV

It’s a 40 inch Samsung LN40D550K1FXZA it’s apart now can post a pic. It just has horizontal faint white lines running across the top 3/4 of the screen, you could still watch it but looked a little milky, can you give me more info on gate way drivers, is it something I can fix. I’m petty good with boards, but not great.

@bigjets post some images of your boards. The gate drivers are part of the circuit board that connects to the side of the LCD panel. You are looking at the board that is part of the LCD. If you post some pictures it might show them.
