problem formating ssd, and compatibility

Hi

I Have an Mac pro, and having problem to format the disk , How can I check if is necessary to change the SSD? is there some tool to repair it or diagnostic ?

is the Macbook pro Mid 2015 SSD type compatible with SSD type for Macpro 2013 if i need to change.
