Why wont my phone boot up?

Hi all,

I have ZTE maven and this morning it would not turn on. It was charged to 24%. I popped the battery in and out but it freezes at the start up screen with none of the usual AT&T start up tone and no light, but the charging light does appear when charging. Im purplexed. Help. I feel like Im a jinx with electronics.

I have a ZTE phone and it was charged to 93% earlier today and now its not working at all .what can be done about this?
