Why is my LG front loader not starting the wash cycle

My neighbor used my machine to wash some blankets. The machine showed an error so, she just took the blankets out of the machine and shut the door and turned it off. When I went down to start a load today, all the appropriate lights came on and the door locked however, the machine will not begin the wash cycle. i lowered the drain hose to get any remaining water out. i opened the small access panel on the front of the machine and loosened the other drain hose, to drain it and i removed the filter and cleaned it. Then i unplugged the machine, hit the power button 5 times and hit the other button 5 times, plugged the machine back in, started the machine and it started the wash cycle. BUT, it was not level and was shaking so i grabbed a hold of the back of it to move it and the back where all the dials are popped up and it wouldn't even turn on. Darn it! I looked in the back of that panel and noticed a connector was loose so, i plugged it back in and the machine came back on but would not start the wash cycle. I tried pressing the buttons again but it didn't work that time....HELP!!! Thank you...
