The problem with the file

Hello, everyone. I have a problem. My Outlook file created in 2007 version of the program was corrupted in some incomprehensible way. I contacted Microsoft technical support and they were unable to help me solve the problem. I get an error message that the Outlook data file PST corrupted, use the repair tool Inbox (SCANPST.EXE) to diagnose and fix errors in the data file. However, this did not help, I tried twice, useless. Can you here your advise, anything??

Hi @underwoood

Where is your outlook data files located? C Drive?

and what is the current size of the outlook pst file?

Consider doing a chkdsk C: for any possible disk issues / bad sectors / orphan files.

you mentioned you use scanpst? any errors message you encoutered?

what operating systems are you using?

Did you use the scanpst in <disk drive>:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12? If you have other folders for Office13, Office14 or Office15 those refer to newer versions of Office. You said that you are trying to fix a PST created with Outlook 2007, are you using that version or a newer version?
