Why is my camera stuck on Release Mode?
When I turn my camera on I can’t do anything because it is frozen on a screen that says “Release Mode.”

Try Updating the firmware.

When you took your last photo, did you have it on bulb mode?
Release mode is referring to the drive mode. Burst mode, timer delay etc. Try moving the mode dial, see if that fixes it. Pull out the battery and switch it on. You may have to reset the time after this.
