Hi,
Unfortunately the manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover accidents which I assume happened to your phone.
You didn't happen to have the phone insured by any chance? If you did, check the policy as to what you have to do to make a claim for a repair or replacement.
You could try contacting a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to repair the phone, but as it is a very new model it may be difficult for them to source replacement parts.
If you decide to buy a new phone, you could try and recoup some of the cost of a new phone by selling your old phone as faulty screen, good for parts

If the repair cost is more than the price of the phone itself, then yes, you should probably get it replaced. And by the way, I wouldn't touch that oily substance. It might kill you. Don't know if it will. LOL.
