Why it is stuck in headphone mode?

I changed my audio flex but still no sound except the alarm sound. pls help. should i change the flex again or is something else? thank you

I have seen this issue with a customer's phone as well, tried almost everything out there. Not sure why it is like this. Tried cleaning the headphone jack with air, and alcohol. Tried a different ribbon etc. Cleaned the board, etc. Restored... nothing! Looking for help too.

The headphone socket is damaged. You need to replace the flex.

i have the same problem except it doesnt tell me its in headphone mode... try putting the headphones in and out rapidly... if it gets more messed up let it sit, then put the headphones in, then out, then let it sit, then it will be back in the mode u had it in (headphone mode) im looking for some answeres on this too for the same problem
