replace locking tab iPod classic

I broke one of the locking tabs while replacing the LCD in my 6th generation iPod classic. Is it possible to replace the tab, or will I need to buy a new logic board?

Chosen Solution

I have previously replaced a tab from an old logic board. it can be a little tricky, I definitely have to use a magnifying lamp to do it. So a magnifier of some sort and a steady hand CAN help. Of course the other issue is going to be to find a replacement tab that fits, sometimes you can pick up non-working logic boards on ebay. Otherwise you are looking at a new logic board. So give it a try, not much to lose at this time.Good Luck
