Purchased new back for iPhone 6s Plus and power button will not fit...

Hello,

I purchased a new back (Gold) from Amazon for my iPhone 6s Plus and for some reason the power button will not fit. I have tried two different buttons to rule that out. When I place the power button into the new back case it sits flush at best. I know for a fact that it is supposed to protrude and "click" when pressed or held.

My guess is that the hole on the back case is too small for some reason. I thought about taking a drill and expanding the hole a bit.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Jason

This is weird but the new buttons don't come with the "click" thingy for some reason, transfer your old power button from your old back housing unit and you should be good, sucks I know but oh well

Hi, unfortunately I've tried that already with no success. Both buttons are so tight that neither one can be pressed when in the hole. I verified that the click does happen on the cable, but when inserted, the button does not engage it because it doesn't move. Like I said, it's almost like the hole is too small. I am going to try again in the morning. Thanks!
